Oops, I'm a Monster

Inspired by media such as Turning Red, Teen Wolf and any fiction with the ever-popular trope of one of the lead characters turning into something inhuman and needing to find a way to change back, Oops I’m Monster provides a simple framework for creating your own stories in that mould. The assumed setting is a modern urban neighbourhood, with the players taking on the roles of ordinary children or young adults; the action starts right away, with one of them turning into a monster.

Game play is driven forward through a series of structured questions and action prompts; the story is divided into three acts, with four questions to be answered in each act. Each question is answered in it’s own scene and provides a choice of action prompts to help frame the scene and drive it to a conclusion. There are suggested answers to the questions and other guidance given for each act.
