Kicks

Kicks is a storygame about young superheroes trying to balance two lives: that of an ordinary teenager at high school, and that of the sidekick to a legend! The tone also balances comedic action-adventure (no-one actually dies, no matter what the threat) and heartfelt drama (the main characters learn lessons about life as they grow up.)

The game has no GM, using a series of card-based prompts you create with your group to direct the scenes that occur: these cards split the story into the ordinary lives of average teenagers and superheroic action adventure, then throws these elements together and ask the players to decide which part of their characters' lives to put first, the mundane or the extraordinary?
