Feeling Dated

Feeling Dated takes its inspiration from dating sims and in particular My Next Life as a Villainess, an anime series  that pays tribute to otome games. This game’s default setting is a low-fantasy, pseudo-historical world but you can set the scene in any culture or sub-culture where people may be making romantic overtures to one another.

The players all take on the role of Sweethearts, all of whom are being courted by the Suitor: no-one plays the role of the Suitor, however, as they are represented in each scene by random draws from a standard deck of cards. Besides the deck, the only other materials required for play are the Sweetheart playsheets and something to mark them with. Each player needs a unique playsheet for their character, no two players can ever have the same playsheet; each sheet not only describes a character, but also serves as a Bingo card!
