Above the Law

Above the Law is an action RPG of superheroism, where you play one of the world’s greatest defenders, taking whatever actions you deem necessary to preserve order and hold back chaos. You might draw your powers from almost any source, but what really makes you tick are the maxims you live by, the principles that are your reason for standing up and fighting.

This game is built on the LUMEN engine, a simple system for creating fast, epic action scenes with powerful protagonists; using some six-sided dice, a few tokens and the combined imaginations of your group, you can create your own epic stories of superheroes and the world they are trying to save.

UPDATE: A few typos that crept into the Style sheets have been updated, but there is also now a full, functional spreadsheet to use when playing the game online. This has information for all the Origins and Styles available and enables you to create your own fully defined characters from scratch.
