Wardens of the Wanderbots

“The last thing we knew for certain was boarding a dreamship with our parents, setting out for new homes on a new world; instead, we ended up in an advanced artificial world, with no explanation and no-one else to help us! Now we travel the Pipeline, hoping to find some clues about how we got here and where our families are, with the help of some amazing robots left here by the Builders. There are a lot of strange places, people and things out there so we’ll keep going until we find some answers…”

Wardens of the Wanderbots is a storygame styled after a Saturday morning kids’ cartoon serial: there is an ongoing story, divided into episodic sections each with their own self-contained plots, which tie into the overall adventure piece by piece. In WotW, all the players take on the roles of kids from a futuristic, space faring civilisation, who have mysteriously awoken on an unknown artificial world, instead of the new colony they expected to arrive on with their families. The game is about how those kids explore their situation and the many aliens they help along the way.
