Foretold: Mile's End

Foretold is a way of playing narrative story games driven by a series of prompts; following in the footsteps of games like For The Queen, Women Are Werewolves and In a Wicked Age, the prompts for the story are determined by drawing cards from a deck. You can use any ordinary deck of playing cards with a Foretold game, with the only additional materials needed being these rules to guide you through the game-play. Foretold typically works best with 3-5 players.

This iteration of Foretold is a contemporary tale of nostalgia and the way we recall the past as a better place to live. Taking inspiration from The World’s End, the main characters embark on a pub crawl to relive past glories and reconnect with friends they haven’t seen in a long time. As they revisit the pubs they once frequented in their youth, they will relive painful experiences, make peace with their past and maybe even find out that not everything is as it appears to be here.
